Responsibilities
Responsible for managing the day to day operations of the finance department, preparation and management of the hotel’s financial budgets, implementing and overseeing all activities relating to the financial aspects of the hotel in compliance with the local tax laws and also by the hotel’s SOPs.
Manage all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory, and revenue recognition.
Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business strategy.
Ensure strong financial controls, compliance with regulatory requirements, and risk management.
Oversee cash flow management, financial reporting, and cost control measures to maximize profitability.
Provide financial guidance and business analysis to senior management and owners.
Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with policies and industry standards.
Maintain accurate financial records, contracts, leases, and compliance documentation.
Manage tax, insurance, and legal compliance for the business.
Oversee procurement procedures, ensuring cost efficiency and budget adherence.
Lead and develop the finance team through training, hiring, and performance management.
Requirements
Minimum 8 years’ in similar capacity.
Excellent knowledge of financial management and accounting issues in hospitality industry
